MrBee, I think some of the girls were hoping for an actual swap - could we add a "Swap" or "Barter" section to the Classifieds? People could trade their unwanted gifts, as well as barter services locally (I know one of the Bees recently used Craigslist to barter her photography skills in exchange for someone to do her hair, didn't she?).
If there's enough interest, we'll definitely consider building it!
Would it be called Swap or Barter?
welllllll... "Swap" implies goods, whereas "Barter" implies services. I'd say "Swap" sounds more inclusive to my ear.
I like the "Marketplace for Misfit Gifts" as a title. (: Definitely Swap versus Barter
oh my gosh i think lots of bees would totally be interested in this, as i am also! i like swap too.

There have been a couple of threads about strange/ unwanted/ unappreciated wedding gifts and some of us thought a board for exchanging or giving away these unwanted items to someone who wants them would be fun. Maybe it could go into the classifieds section of WB?
