Can you please make the wedding date optional or ask something else like how long you've been dating your SO? It sort of sucks to be in waiting or to try to join the board when you don't have a wedding date. The new profile rules make us put a website if we want to update anything like a blog site for our website...
I didn't actually try to change anything on my profile cause it's fine the way it is, but if I did try to change something, I'd probably just make up a date. And I hate lying to people.
I wonder if this requirement cuts down on vendors signing up to spam us though???
Is the requirement that you enter a date, or just enter something? Plenty of girls have a general month, season or year listed; I see nothing wrong with that. Crebre, if you just put 2010 in yours, I don't think anyone would be surprised. :)
I agree with crebre.....I am engaged but due to recent events...I had to change my date to something random when really I would have preferred "undecided" or something like that. If we HAVE to put something...it would be nice to have more options.
I am married but I support this. I like the option of being able to put down the amount of time you've been with your SO. Or just make it completely optional.
my computer is acting insane!!!
@DD:i totally believe it's vendor spam related. i think if we add the length of time you've been dating or something like that it solves the issue... and cuts down on the vendor spam.
I am totally for this so you can count one vote from my end... I think it really stings that those of us who are still waiting and hoping have to enter a defined date
I'd like to vote in favor of this. We had our date booked pretty early on (say day 1) of our engagement, but it's just illogical to think everyone else will also have their date set in stone.
It didn't use to have a required date I think when I signed up. Poor waiting bees!
I agree too! I think this will make things more 'confortable' (if that's a good word?) for girls who are engaged but just haven't selected a date as well as our waiting bees who are not sure yet. :)
I totally agree, it should be optional! I am engaged and we have changed our date 3 times already!
