Weddingbee ideas

There are now at least 2 bees planning their US weddings from Chile!

I wonder if a local board for South America would help others in the southern continent plan their wedding?  I know MightySapphire planned hers from Colombia!

hmm things are so globalized now, i don't really think it's appropriate / necessary to create a board just for South America, otherwise readers in other geographical regions would want a separate board too.

isn't that the idea of the boards?  For people in geographical locations to have a place to collaborate?  I don't see any issue with allowing people in various locations their own board - I don't think the idea is to exclude any geographical location from collaborative participation on the boards.  For example, I didn't know before I saw Miss Poodle come along that there were other hive members in South America - if I had known earlier, that would have helped me out a whole lot.  It's really easy for a general board post in the Hive to get buried in other posts quickly.

There's already a board category for hive members that are abroad, but only for the UK.  I thought it only appropriate that girls who are planning from south america (or IN south america) get a chance to benefit from their own board.  That's why I suggested a "south america" board, as opposed to a "chile" board.

BTW, I think it's a testament to the incredible SUCCESS of Mrs. & Mr. Bee that weddingbee is becoming international!

YES! YES! YES!!!  I think is a great idea.  We are planning a wedding in Bogota, Colombia from Miami, FL.  This bord will definitelly help!
