Weddingbee ideas

With the additions of the Gallery and Bios, there are now so many places where bees and readers can have all of their information! When I click on a reader's name in the boards, it takes me to a list of all of their board posts and comments.... when I click on a reader's name in the gallery, it takes me to all of their gallery pics.... and so on.  It would be cool if there was one big "master profile" for each member with abridged versions of their board posts, gallery pics, and bio, with links to the complete version of each list.  It will be easier to have all of the information for one person in a concentrated place.

Can there also be a central directory of every registered user who has a bio?

yes please! i confuse myself even, trying to locate my bio page, 'cos at the top right, it goes to my profile / posts.

Totally seconded!

I tried to come back to a support post that I was working on and I couldn't find it until I went to Support, then to my profile. And if I want to look at specific brides bios after reading a board post, I have to write down their user name and then go to Bios, then to their profile.

Too complicated to have all the separate profiles. I can't even track back my own stuff!

@whitesonner - I'm not sure if Support and Ideas posts would show up in someone's master profile?  They're a bit different from the other tabs... a little bit apples and oranges?

I´m voting on the master profiles!! It´s the one thing I would change from wedding bee.

Great idea, I would love to be reading the boards and then be able to easily link to someones bio page.  I think it would get the bio pages used more often.

Even if the 'other' profiles were linked in each profile; if I open someone's profile via their latest board post, there could be a link at the top that says "Bio" and another that says "Classifieds" etc; and I could click on them and go straight to their Bio profile/etc, rather than searching for them.

I'm with daydream. Can we just put a link in the boards profiles that links to the Bios and Gallery and DIY stuff for that user? Instead of mashing everything on one server or one profile, can links solve the issue?

Yup, cross links are the answer!  This project is being implemented as we speak... :-)
